Chrysler Group LLC has announced a new, refreshed sedan – 2016 Dodge Charger. This muscle car may be its next generation and one of the most powerful cars.

Exterior Changes and Design

First of all, 2016 Dodge Charger will show up with a new chassis. As for the exterior, it will have, as always, its recognizable look, but with more aggressive appearance. It is a four door car that will receive new redesigned front and rear part and 20 inch aluminum wheels. The LED headlamps will be refreshed with new, modern shape, taillights will be extended, narrow black grille will have SRT sign, since its full name is Dodge Charger SRT. We can expect some modifications with air intakes, bumpers and spoiler too. The front part will be lower and the whole body shape will be marked with sporty lines. Generally, it will keep its dominant silhouette but in more refined manner.

Inside, 2016 Dodge Charger will be in top of its class with premium materials and technology. The cabin is very comfortable and roomy. There is enough leg and headroom for all passengers to enjoy a pleasant ride. The seats will be, most likely, upholstered in quality leather. It will be equipped with great audio sound system with voice commands, navigation, Bluetooth, 8.4 inch touch screen on the dash, Satellite Radio, Sirius XM etc.

Engine and Performance

 

Speaking of the engine of 2016 Dodge Charger, there are some speculations which are most likely certain, and those are that is will be powered with 6.2-liter V8 Hellcat Hemi engine which is capable to produce 707 horsepower and 650lb-ft of torque. It should be paired with a new 8-speed automatic transmission. It will come with a standard rear- wheel drive and all-wheel drive will be optional. It could easily show up with improved version of the Pentastar V6 engine as well.

Expected Price and Release Date

It is still too early to talk about its release date, but we are hoping to see it sometime in 2016. As for its price, we assume that it won’t cost less than $ 50,000. Its main rival will be Mercedes Benz AMG S65 and Bentley Flying Spur W12.
